Pond Pumping Pond scum does exist. We here at Miksis Services, Inc. can contest to that. We have pumped it. Paper and plastic products, along with winery byproduct, are a small portion of what flowed through our pumps and hoses. An independent hydraulic circuit controls the specially designed slurry gate which can recirculate material at the source. Adding water with the slurry circuit engages, liquefies the haviest of materials. If it flows, we can pump it. The rock gaurd limits the intake to two inches in diameter solids, protecting the impeller from unnecessary wear and tear. Ponds with little or no slope require additional equipment to help move the material to the pump. |
