Pond scum does Exist. We here at MSI can contest to that. We have pumped it. Paper and plastic products along with winery byproducts is a small portion of what flowed through our pumps and hoses. An independent hydraulic circuit controls the specially designed slurry gate which can recirculate material at the source. Adding water with the slurry circuit engaged liquefies the heaviest of materials. If it flows we can pump it. The rock guard limits the intake to 2in diameter solids protecting the impeller from unnecessary wear and tear. Ponds with little or no slope require additional equipment to help move the material to the pump. |
