Manhole Rehab Corroding manholes with infiltration water can be sealed and relined with various techniques. MSI incorporates chemical grouting and cementious fiber mortar with trowel finish or applied epoxy coatings. Surface preparation requires a minimum of 2K psi hydroblasting. Occasionally, up to 10K psi with a sand injection blast, is needed if rusty reinforcing steel is exposed.
