Investigative Assessment

Miksis Services, Inc. specializes in a variety of different investigative assessment techniques. Investigative assessment is the easiest way to get to the root of the problem, without digging up your whole yard.

These techiniques involve CCTV (Closed Caption TV) and locating to pin point the problem. It is our policy to not repair good pipe, unlike some of our competitors. Locating gives us the ability to find the exact depth and area to repair. CCTV gives the customer the capabilty to see the before picture and lets us assess the situation. Our data software collection program is CDL 9000 by Cobra Technologies. The software provides the customer with various reports and repair recommendations on a DVD or flashdisk.

Smoke testing is an invaulable and cost effective method for finding cross connections between storm sewer and sanitary sewer. Leaks are easily found through cracks in the lines or difficient manholes. Large volumes of smoke is pumped into manholes and upstream and downstream lines are sealed.

Manhole assessment provides the customer with a indepth report for manhole condition using MACP (Manhole Assessment Certification Program). Information is gathered in detailed reports about infiltration or root intrusion. Pictures are provided with the reports or video depending on what the client requires.
