Confined space regulations requires that the air be tested prior to entry into a confined space with an appropriate device to determine whether oxygen deficiency and or dangerous air contamination exists. A written record of the test is kept at the work site. Testing is conducted with sufficient frequency to insure that the development of oxygen deficiency and or dangerous air contamination does not occur during the work activity.
Material testing and monitoring continually occurs on hazardous waste sites as well. |
