Epoxy coating is particularly effective when applied to surfaces suffering from corrosion or prolonged chemical exposure. These conditions are typically found in manholes, lift stations, vaults or any structure exposed to caustic substances. In preparation, the surface to be coated is hydro-blasted to remove any foreign material. Leaks are sealed using either cementitious mortar or gel grout. Once the surface has dried, the epoxy coating is evenly applied using a spray gun. Due to the rapid cure time of the epoxy, the structure can return to normal operation quickly.
