Downhill side of a worksite is plugged with a pnematic flow thru pig. The manhole is pumped into the filter cloth lined phase seperator and returned to the system via the flow thru capability of the equipement. The solids are held, dehydrated, and removed to an appropiate disposal site.
20 years of calcium buildup completely plugged off the 12" and 15" storm line. The minute redeposits in the RCP where like strata spires in an underground cavern. Tungsten carbide cutters were used to remove the deposits in 2600 ft of affected line. The calcium being harder than the concrete pipe would only allow 25 ft to be cleaned in a 10 hour day.
