Horizontal edge drains are usually 1 1/2 to 2 inch in diameter. These wells utilize perforated pipe to dewater, relieving hydraulic forces in unstable locations. Jetting cuts root infiltration which generally occurs within the first 50 feet and also removes mineral build up which exists throughout the well. 4K psi is a normal working pressure in most cases and 400LF are normal lengths cleaned. |
